Meeting friends through blogging is such a treat. I started following Kathy Virnig (stampinobsession) when we both posted comments on a third blog. We started sending cards to each other because we knew the other would ‘get’ it (and she definitely gets me).
My card today is whole heartedly inspired/copied from a card she recently sent to me.
Kathy’s FABULOUS coloring (I wish you could see the dimension on her petals-she cut extra and popped them up-and the glossy accents on the buds), the awesome diecut design, and the sweet message inside gave me a warm and cozy feeling. I wanted to try recreating her card as an addition my OWH box. 8/1/12 edited to add stamp source (Magenta 09153P) and die source (Memory Box Piestra Tile).
I didn’t have the same supplies she used (that floral image is amazing) but I think I captured her design.
